CURSE BREAKER

Teaching by Apostle I.B. Gwarimbo at KIngs Life Covenant Church Pretoria Sunday Live Service.
Scripture: 2 Kings 6:24-25
Theme: CURSE BREAKER

  • The enemy we are dealing with tries by all means to bring us down.
    • Luke 4:13, John 13:27: Know your enemy.
    • It’s a tragedy not to know who your enemy is.
  • You are the Samaria (Capital City) of your people.
    • You are the capital of your family.
    • The devil cannot enter into you because you are born again, but he can surround you.
    • Just like the army of Syria surrounded Samaria but did not enter it.
  • Effects of a Spiritual Siege
    • You can’t do what you’re capable of doing because you are besieged.
    • No access to opportunities.
    • Can’t afford the life you desire to live.
    • Constantly losing.
    • Financial bondage: When money comes, it’s misused to keep you broke.
    • The devil hates the prosperity of believers.
    • Ben-Hadad (enemy) cuts off your supply.
    • Sin can give Satan access into your life—this is how Ben-Hadad prevailed over Samaria.
  • Desperation in the Siege
    • Things become unnecessarily expensive.
    • You end up taking jobs you’re not supposed to take.
    • Crisis pushes people into sin.
    • The Israelites, under siege, resorted to cannibalism—eating their own.
    • Even people God sends to bless you, you turn against them.
  • The Role of the Prophet and the Word
    • The King blamed the prophet in the crisis.
    • The quickest way out of a famine is to receive a word from God.
    • When the prophet speaks, the city is blessed.
  • Declaration of Deliverance
    • “Thus says the Lord: Tomorrow about this time a measure of fine flour will be sold for a shekel…”
    • The very gate shut by the enemy is where God will release provision.
    • The Lord has visited Samaria.
  • Prophetic Declaration
    • Tomorrow we will find fine flour—fine pastors, elders, and members.
    • The Lord is changing your story.
    • Your coming will be mighty.
    • The devil will hear you coming, just like the sound of the seven lepers.

Today I say: No More!
Tomorrow by this time, thus says the LORD, I bless you.
Be blessed in the name of Jesus!
